Chris lived down the street from me. We would trade book authors; fiction and science-based ecology. He joined me one day to help Wheelock Wilson collect legacy apple cuttings from an orchard being closed and turned into housing. We were 15 or 16 at the time. Sharing our interests helped me focus on a future career.
Chris and I were real pals in High School. I think that the last time I saw him was in 1971. Chris was always a lot of fun and had a high powered opinion on about everything in life. Enjoyed scooping the loop with Chris in the car. I will miss him.
