I am so very sorry for your loss. I knew Nita through my grandma, Edna Byrd. Growing up I absolutely loved joining the "girls" for snacks at grandma's or for lunch at the mall. Nita was always so kind to me, and a wonderful friend to my grandma. My thoughts are with you all.
Nita was a delightful and competent partner at the bridge table at the Marshalltown Senior Center. I always liked being her partner and sharing conversation with her. Shiela Kielly
Dear Linda, Jim and family,
Your mother always brightened one's day with her beautiful smile. She was a very good golfer. In 2004 or 2005 we visited with her while she was at the nursing home visiting Tom, and we were visiting my mother. She was excited to have gotten a new driver, she was probably around 89 or 90. Our condolences on the loss of your lovely mother. Steve and Sandy Simms
Please accept our deepest sympathy on the passing away of Waunita. My Husband and I were neighbors to Tom and Waunita for many years. They were both a delight. Waunita was one of the sweetest women on earth. We have missed them being across the street.
I am sorry for your loss. I enjoyed knowing her and being her doctor
I was so sorry to see that Waunita has passed away. I am so glad you sent the recent picture of you girls and her! I will cherish the picture as a remembrance of a wonderful Lady! I so enjoyed the times we spent together, and she was such a great neighbor! Remembering the dinners we had with both she and Tom. So sorry for your loss. Joyce Buck
I am so sorry to hear about Nita passing away. You all have my deepest sympathy. I used to really enjoy when Nita and others stopped by after golf with Mom. They were quite an awesome bunch of gals who knew how to enjoy life. Nita was a very special lady. May all your happy memories with her help you through this difficult time. Julie Miller
