I only had the pleasure of meeting Lowell and Joan a few times, but his pride in their family was obvious - as was his love for his Cubs. Rest in eternal peace, Lowell. Our deepest sympathy and prayers are with you Joan, and all of your family.
Too many memories to share... but ones of Christmas as we gathered and played games. Also the many family reunion vacations we did together. Lowell's laughter and smiles while sharing those times with family told a lot of the man and proud father he was.
You will be missed by us all.
May all the warm memories in your heart wrap around you now and give you comfort and peace.....

Dear Schleisman Family,
Our thoughts & prayers are with all of you during this very sad time. Since moving to Marshalltown the only time we have gotten to see Lowell and Joan is at church, but always enjoyed our visits with them and catching up on family.

I only knew Lowell by reputation and that was excellent. My father, Don Martin, thought the world of Lowell and that's all I needed to know. My heart goes out to his family, may he rest in peace. Tom Martin
A great guy and a champion cribbage player! May he RIP!
