Marv was united in marriage to Sharon Miller on December 26, 1958 in Marshalltown. He farmed in rural Marshall County his entire life. He worked hard so that he could play hard. In Marv's early years he was a member of 4H and Jaycees. He was a big supporter of Case IH. In Marv's eyes, tractors had to be red. Marv loved spending time with friends and family in Arizona and the Lake of the Ozarks. Whether it was a car or a boat, Marv loved them fast.

Sharon and Janice- Growing up a neighbor on the farm in Vienna twp. I vividly remember Marv as a cool guy with a fast 55 and 57 Cheve, a super fast go cart, snowmobile, and high school athletic hero to me. The go-cart track one mile west of us was the noisy center of attraction for many of us. A great neighbor and farmer. Blessings!
Sharon and family,
We pray that God keep you in the palm of his hands during this difficult time.
Our prayers and thoughts are with you.

We had many happy hours at “Happy hour” in AZ. We will always remember Marvin’s kindness and willingness to accept new friends, his first smile under the awning of his beautiful motorhome welcoming us, and his laughter. May you Rest In Peace, Marvin, our friend. ✝️ . Our condolences to the family.
